On the console side, "Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition" reached 12 million units sold after being released in 2012. "Minecraft PS3 Edition" was able to sell 1.5 million copies at the same time since launching in late 2013. The franchise should have surpassed the 50 million milestone at this point.
